The Vergence Multifamily mission is to provide long-term professional and reliable service to our owners and our clients and maintain high standards within the property management industry. Our focus is to seize opportunities to allow all partners to achieve their goals through collaborative efforts and sustainable relationships while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
President
Ben Pierce currently serves as the President for Vergence Multifamily. His responsibilities include vetting prospective properties for purchase, designating properties to be sold, and sourcing potential capital for future investments. After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration, Ben began his career in medical sales.
After two years with Specialty Medical Supply, Ben began his own medical supply company. After selling out his ownership interest in Total Healthcare Solutions in 2007, Ben attended the Arrhythmia Technologies Institute in Greenville, South Carolina and received his Certificate of proficiency in cardiac rhythm management devices. He then began his career as a Sales Representative for Boston Scientific in their Cardiac Rhythm Management Division in Gulfport, Mississippi. He eventually took over the North Mississippi Territory where he was recognized nationally as a Triple Crown Winner twice (above quota in Brady, Tachy, and heart failure products), a Tour de Force Winner in 2015 (achieving the Triple Crown in back to back years), and 2015 Presidents Club winner (Top 1% of sales nationally) for that company.
After 9 years with Boston Scientific, Ben and his wife, Jennifer Adcock Pierce, moved home to Hattiesburg for him to join the Vergence Multifamily Team and work alongside his brother in law, John Adcock.
Vice President of Finance
Kylie Smith serves as the Vice President of Finance for Vergence Multifamily. She joined the Vergence Multifamily family in the Spring of 2022. She is responsible for reporting to banks, reviewing and reconciling monthly financial statements and preparing reporting to owners/investors.
Kylie graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2012 and 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Masters of Professional Accountancy.
Kylie began her professional career in public accounting, as an auditor, in which she served companies within the public and middle market, which encompassed a variety of industries. After leaving public accounting, Kylie went to work for a private company that was a leading provider of total right-of-way access. While she worked there, she served as an assistant controller as well as the Treasury Manager.
Director of Operations
Joshua McNeill currently serves as the Director of Operations for Vergence Multifamily. He joined Vergence Multifamily in October of 2013 and has held multiple positions within the company, from Community Manager, Multi Site Manager and Senior Property Manager. Previously, he worked for 10 years as a Licensed Realtor in Houston, TX, and now oversees the operations for the Multifamily division for Vergence Multifamily in Alabama and Mississippi. Joshua attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, The University of Southern Mississippi, and The University of Houston holding a 4.0 GPA and membership to PHI Theta Kappa.
Joshua has served the Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association as both an officer and a Director for several years, first as an officer from 2015-2016, secretary for 2017, President from 2018-2019, and currently holds the position as Association Executive.
Joshua has received many awards and recognition including President's Award in 2018 and 2019 from the Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association, Spirit Award in 2018 from The Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association, Adcock Attitude Award in 2018 from Vergence Multifamily, Accounts Payable Award in 2017 from Vergence Multifamily, Adcock Attitude Award in 2017 from Vergence Multifamily, Occupancy Stabilization in 2017 from Vergence Multifamily, Over the Top Effort Award in 2017 from Vergence Multifamily, Manager of the Year in 2017 from Vergence Multifamily, and Manager of the year in 2016 from The Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association.
Regional Manager
Dylan Frame-Darby is the Regional Manager for Vergence Multifamily, overseeing properties in Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle. He joined the company in November 2016, initially serving as a multi-property leasing agent, then advancing to property manager and senior property manager. His leadership journey culminated in his current role as Regional Manager.
Dylan holds an associate's degree in general studies from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He has been actively involved in the Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association, where he has served as a board member and as Secretary for two years.
Throughout his career in property management, Dylan has earned several prestigious awards, including: 2017 Leasing Agent of the Year from the Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association; 2018 Reporting Award from Vergence Multifamily; 2021 Property Manager of the Year from the Greater Gulf Coast Apartment Association; 2023 Team Excellence from Vergence Multifamily.
Regional Manager
Danielle Waite brings over 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry, with a proven track record of leadership, operational excellence, and value creation. She began her career as a leasing consultant before proudly serving seven years in the U.S. Air Force. Following her military service, Danielle returned to multifamily housing, quickly advancing from property manager to regional manager through her dedication, expertise, and results-driven approach.
Throughout her career, Danielle has been instrumental in driving rent growth that consistently exceeded pro forma expectations, particularly during new acquisitions and value-add opportunities. She has successfully led multiple community renovations while maintaining high occupancy and supporting rental increases—always with a focus on enhancing the resident experience.
Danielle is passionate about building strong communities through superior customer service, company culture, and creating a sense of belonging for residents and teams alike
She holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, as well as the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential. Danielle earned her associate degree while serving in the Air Force, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and later completed her bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she studied education and psychology.
Regional Coordinator
Ashleigh Odom currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Vergence Multifamily. Ashleigh has over 20 years’ experience in property management, succeeding in tough market environments such as Nevada and California. Throughout her work, she has developed resident retention programs, traveled to various distressed properties and worked with the property lease up programs on new and rehab properties.
Ashleigh has also developed and taught marketing seminars for various properties, covering a variety of subjects such as how to market on a budget, how to outreach market, how to lease a particular product as is with no concessions, and how to “dress for success.” Ashleigh joined the Adcock in team in August 2015, fulfilling her position in both the Mobile office and on-site for training program development. Ashleigh is a highly motivated and energetic professional, dedicated to understanding and meeting all prospects’ needs. She is a creative team member, able to brainstorm new ideas and deliver marketing concepts and presentations with clarity, enthusiasm, and humor.
Bookkeeper
Julie is from Meridian, Mississippi and currently serves as the Bookkeeper for Vergence Multifamily at the Corporate Office in Hattiesburg. She first joined the Vergence Multifamily team in December of 2016 as a Property Manager.
Julie has over 16 years’ experience in property management as she previously held positions including Property Manager for two complexes in Meridian, MS and Office Manager for a real estate company that specialized in both rental property management as well as sales. Julie excelled in customer service experience from her employment at Silver Star Casino where she held many roles including Assistant Hotel Manager, part of the MOD Squad (Casino Manager on Duty), and assisted with Customer Service and Hospitality Training.
Julie was trained in different areas of bookkeeping in previous jobs including her role as Data Processor for Muna Federal Credit Union. In April of 2018, she made her move to Hattiesburg as the Bookkeeper for Vergence Multifamily. She currently assists with day-to-day receivables, payables, banking, reconciliations, filing organization, and record keeping for insurance and taxes for Vergence Multifamily along with its sister companies.
